Whole Prepared Scrap Car Bodies

Unflattened car bodies, with tires, radiator and battery removed, gas tanks acceptable but must be removed and punctured, (no propane tanks allowed). Engine and transmission may or may not be included.

Flattened Car Bodies Scrap

Flattened Car Bodies shall consist of prepared car bodies that have been flattened & stacked for transportation as auto shredder feedstock.
Tires, radiator and battery removed, gas tanks acceptable but must be removed and punctured, (no propane tanks allowed). Engine and transmission must be removed.

Scrap Green Car Bodies

Green Car Bodies shall consist of stripped car hulks that have dismantled through a "Green" Auto Recycling System.
The "Green" Car Body shall have most of the manually strippable non-metallic parts removed, including, windows, seats, interior & trunk carpet, head & tail lights, external non-metal body parts, internal dash parts. Fluids reduced or removed.

Unclean Motor Blocks Scrap

Whole or particle cast iron auto or truck engines. Transmissions may or may not be attached.

Clean Scrap Iron Motor Blocks

Clean Motor Block shall consist of stripped cast iron motor blocks, free of oil pan, pistons, and all foreign attachments.

Automotive Cast Iron Scrap

Sorted Automotive Cast shall consist of sorted broken or unbroken cast iron automotive scrap, not to exceed 18"x18"

Scrap Steel Wheel Rims

Scrap Steel Wheel Rims shall consist of whole or crushed steel automobile wheel rims with tires removed, and may contain lead wheel weights.

Scrap Aluminum Wheels

Clean, uncoated aluminum auto wheels of 356 alloy. Free from dirt, oil, and grease. Steel, valve stems and wheel weights have to be removed.

Unclean Auto Radiator Scrap

Unclean Auto Radiators shall consist of mixed copper/brass automotive radiators with iron frame or supports still intact, (iron not to exceed 4% of total weight),
may not include iron finned radiators or aluminum Rads.

Clean Scrap Auto Radiators

Iron free mixed copper/brass automotive radiators, may not include aluminum radiators. Typical composition is 70% Copper, 3-3.5% Tin, 10-11% Zinc and 7-8% Lead. Equivalent to ISRI code OCEAN.

Heater Core Scrap

Heater Cores shall include clean copper/brass automotive heater core radiators.

Aluminum Auto Rads Scrap

Aluminum Auto Rads shall consist of scrap aluminum automotive radiators, free from iron,
May not contain copper/brass tubing.

Whole Scrap Auto Transmissions

Assorted automotive transmissions, free of torque converters.

Irony Aluminum Scrap

Mixed Irony Aluminum shall consist of assorted scrap aluminum contaminated with Iron, the aluminum content must be a minimum 70% and iron may not exceed 30%
Must be free of excessive plastics, oils and other materials prohibitive in the sweat furnace operation.

Irony Zinc Diecast Scrap

Irony Zinc shall consist of zinc solids contaminated with iron, total zinc content shall be a minimum of 70% and total iron content shall be a maximum of 30%.
Must be free of excessive oils, plastics or other sweat furnace prohibitive.

Irony Magnesium Scrap

Irony Magnesium shall consist of magnesium solids contaminated with iron, must be free of excessive oils & dirt
Iron content must not exceed 10 %.

Scrap Lead Wheel Weights

Lead Wheel Weights shall consist of lead wheel balancing weights, May contain steel clips.
Equivalent to ISRI code ROPES.

Scrap Lead/Acid Batteries

Whole wet lead/acid batteries. May contain plastic or rubber cases, but may not contain wooden, metal or glass cases. Similar to ISRI code RINK.

Scrap Catalytic Converters (assorted sizes)

Whole scrap automotive Catalytic Converters, trimmed of excess pipe. Must be intact and contain all of the original Catalyst Material.

Mixed Auto Fragments

Mixed Auto Fragments shall consist of sorted auto shredder fragments that have been magnetically separated to remove the majority of iron and steel and a secondary seperation has been performed (such as eddy current or spacific gravity classification) to consolidate the non-ferrous metals content. The content shall be a minimum of 50% aluminum and a minimum of 80% total non-ferous metals unless otherwise stated. ISRI grade Zorba may be included in this material.

Auto Shredder Fluff

Auto Shredder Fluff shall consist of the residual light fraction of shredder residue and may contain fibrous textiles, polyurethane foams, plastics, rubber, and a wide variety of light metal content. This material may be saturated with oils and engine coolants and miscellaneous dirt and stone.

Scrap Passenger Tires

Whole derimmed passenger tires, including 12", 13", 14", 15" rim sizes.

Used Motor Oil

Used Motor Oil shall consist of a mixture of recovered automobile fluids including: motor oil, transmission fluid and brake fluids.

Windshield Scrap

Whole scrap windshields from automobiles.
